Thanks guys for your replies. I always try to get my stuff from you guys at Midfifty's but I couldn't wait just to get a radiator cap shipped. I had to break down and find it at O'Reilly's. Again-...

56 272 V8 radiator cap

I searched for quite a bit and couldn't find any solid information. It appears my radiator cap is weeping and I'm trying to do some research on the correct cap.
My truck is a '56 F100 with a...

Welcome MidFifty's! I've got to say that I've tried alot of the various 53-56 vendors but your customer service has made me stay with you! I like good pricing but when it comes down to it- customer...

fuel

My last memories tell me that gas pumps are supposed to be labeled with their ethanol content but I sure haven't seen many lately. I fueled up this evening in another town and asked if premium...

fuel

I'd try to find fuel without ethanol if possible. A few stations in my area carry regular with or without ethanol. Most of Premiums don't have ethanol either. It seems like the farmers are the only...

Moved?

There's only about 5 or 6 states (I think) that have no state income tax. Florida is one of them. That's a big plus!

Florida has no tax on groceries except beer and prepared foods, etc. License...

propane

Just like Big Job said. My dad had a propane business and no issues. The propane tank and it's size may be the only issue.;)

bucking

I admit this doesn't happen often but I had a car that was only driven for a one week period each year. When I was done driving each time- I would fill the gas tank to the top. After a few years, it...

ethanol vs. non ethanol

Funny... the farmer's are making good profits from corn for ethanol but they sure do hate having to put it in their machinery!

ethanol vs. non ethanol

We also had a couple of stations that primarily sold to farmers and had non ethanol. About a month ago they posted signs saying the fuel now contained 10% ethanol. I also talked to the fuel buyer for...

cruising gears

It's driven mostly in town but that's primarily because of the 3.92 gears. I've had to drive it to my closest Lowes hardware which is 50 miles and it would be nice to make it more highway friendly....

cruising gears

Ok- I haven't seen anyone with this situation. My '56 F100 is running a stock 272 V-8 with a Fordomatic automatic transmission. Very seldom is it that it carries any more than groceries. I haven't...
