Serp belt tensioner

My 92's belt tensioner was the one with the shock absorber on it. It was sticking so I took the one off my parts truck without the shock on it... It sticks also, the belt squeaks pretty bad. Rockauto...

I looked for.the adapter for the factory plug to brake controller locally and had no luck. I just cut it off and wired direct. I figure the connector is one more potential problem. Why spend the $$...

I seem to remember plug in the harness around...

I seem to remember plug in the harness around the rear wheel inside the xrivers side crame. Id think if you have the blue wire in the cab from the factory it woulx ontinue to the rear of the truck.

You got that backwards. Primary shoe has less lining and goes toward front of vehicle, secondary is the rear.

You need a reverse shackle kit, or make your own....

You need a reverse shackle kit, or make your own. It is abbreviated RSK on here a lot... Try searching those. I thing springs from a super duty truck is the hot ticket with the RSK.
