Truck was 5.0l. Believe the tranny is SROD and it is 4WD. 5.8 replacing the hydrolocked 5.0. #1 son found out it was not a very good submarine.

Well, I just don't understand what you have done here. Are these wires related to the pump, or the solenoid? Did you change both ends of the wire?
