Thanks guys for the responces. I didnt even think to check the wires. I will do that. As far as rebuilt, everything new inside engine. Stock rebuild. All machine work done, Heads, crank, block....

That helps. It has the E4OD. It has the 20 bolt pan and the push button OD on the dash. How about the number of bolts on the converter. I have seen converters listed with 6 bolts and with 4 bolts....

It has a 5.8, the same as what came out of the truck except I never got the torque converter and flex plate off of the original engine. I dont know what tranny was in the bronco that the replacmenet...
