1955 239 Y block carb spacer/pcv question

Since I have a three prong carb with small intake and ports, could I buy a 1" spacer, drill two small holes into each barrel, Y it off into a pcv valve, and come off the valley pan? Would this work...

Follow up on hub cap clips

I used 4 clips per rim from an 18 wheeler with a measurement of approx. 1 inch from the outer center to drill the holes to mount the clips, if that makes sense. It looks like the original 1948-1956...
