That 'keep everything in order' is good advice for lifters but as long as there isn't any damage or excessive wear on any lifter cup or pushrod end...

How can anyone figure in all of those 'needed' repairs without seeing the truck? It may have been well kept by the PO… we don't know. Every truck has to stand on it's own merits its… there's no one...
