Get the lifetime warranty pads from advance auto....

Get the lifetime warranty pads from advance auto. They're a higher quality pad than the stocks. If it's grinding the rotors are likely going to need to be replaced not just turned.

Did you put the anti-rattle clips/shims on the pads when you installed them? Also check to make sure the rotors seated properly on the hubs.

Sounds about right. There is a check valve in it, and it's a separate part. Total with labor you shouldn't pay more than $~150 total.

It can yes, but the O2 sensor is getting fouled from a rich condition. You need to check the fuel pressure regulator. Turn the key to the on position and do not start the truck. Pull the vacuum line....

The bearings should be the same as the 351, the flywheel will be different as it has a different balance weight. Use the clutch and all related parts for the 351 truck.

What do you mean by poor fuel mileage? The best you can hope for is ~16mpg in a 1/2 ton van with a 351w.
