Yeah, my primaries will be 1 7/8 or 2inch on my truck once I get everything sorted. You cant suck more fuel and air in if you still have exhaust in the way.

Redroad, crossmember was for his cummins conversion. One advantage I see right away for this location for the steering box is it opens up room for headers.
Headers, or intercooler piping.
