I had 2500lbs of wood pellets in the back of my old 83 F-100, the wheel bearings had to be replaced shortly after. It's nice having a truck now that can handle the load.

I believe you can just loosen them all up a bit then jack up one end at a time and replace them. If the bolts come out you shouldn't have to jack it up very far.

You should still get several years of good service from a reman pump. My reman pump is going on 6 years now, longer than the radiator that went in with it. Be careful not to over tighten the water...
