I have used box I took out of my truck when I did power steering.. No column. I cut it off to use my shaft and wheel for my application. PM me if interested. Rebuild mine and swap them out.

Glad you are happy. I love my T5 behind the 223. Time for you to do electronic ignition if you haven't yet. Much more reliable and no adjusting points. Vest of all... When you turn key it starts.

I don't think it can be done. Too many gear positions. Linkage would be a nightmare. I could be wrong. Why not cut a hole in the floor? Will it put shiftr under seat?
