Simply put....a gas engine can do the same work as a diesel...

I've changed the wheel without removing the turbo...

I've changed the wheel without removing the turbo on two trucks. Impact gun on the lowest setting and a short blip did the trick. Both trucks are still running fine.

My 2000 F-450 came with a hydraulic bottle jack that stowed upright in a bracket behind the rear seat (right side of truck). There was a bungee strap that kept it in place.

Many trucks also have the last 7 or 8 digits of the VIN on that stamping pad as well. That will confirm the engine is original to the vehicle......kinda useful to know at times. :-X22

Actually, I am mistaken on the TCC Control...

Actually, I am mistaken on the TCC Control Circuit Monitor....that function doesn't work on these trucks. The only way to know if the PCM is trying to lock the TC is by looking at TCC Modulator.

I interpret the data as if the PCM is trying to lock the TC but it's not happening. On my trucks, I am used to seeing TCC Control...

Love the OEM alternators on these things. Mine lasted 333500 miles before it tanked. The rebuild shop said all but one diode was shot. It sure hung in there for a while....still was charging...

So, watch TCC modulated and TC slip.....when TC modulated is at 100%, slip should be very low....0-3 RPM or so and it looks like a fair amount of slip is happening still. The PCM is trying to lock...
