My truck shut off yesterday after idling really rough. I thought fuel filters, changed them (filling them before putting them on) and it finally started after a good bit of spinning and waiting....

I have a friend who is going to swap his fuel tank for a 52 gallon model in a 2001 Super Duty 7.3. Is there any way to change or reprogram the trip computer to recognize the larger fuel capacity?

I like not having to crank the truck over if I change filters or run a tank completely out of fuel. It is also nice to be able to choose filtration in the 2 micron range.

I suggest taking the easy route: Throw the pump and filter housing in the dump and go Electric. It is the best mod I have done so far.
