Help please with lug nut torque.. Aluminum wheels

Older aluminum American racing "mag" wheels on my wifes 1964 Falcon with 4 lugs..

How tight?? 55? 65? or wait.. is it more than steel?

Got the crap out.. Sprayed carb clnr in the jets and passages..

Idles better :) ...

Have a rig with a 69 390, has an almost new Edelbrock/Weber 4bbl..

Runs great... Starts fine... Engine is fresh...

Usually idles great..

then all of the sudden, even before the engine...

Fuel gauge only ready 1/2 when full

Stock gauge and sender on a 56.. Worked normally until a few weeks ago, now full is 1/2, and im never sure when its empty...

Any particular indicator as to what might have failed based on the...
