I wouldn't throw any more coin at it till you get the DTC's. Data Trouble Codes. I could be anything from HEGO sensor to low signal from EVP. From what iv'e seen of bad IAC it'll idle erratically.

Figured out why my engine wouldn't start, had 2 wires turned around. Pulled the 9" form under it and am in process of installing the 10.25. That axle is a brute! and heavy too!

I want to order a book but my paycheck said not this week. Ford Fuel Injection & Electronic Engine Control 1988-1993 Bentley GFF9. It sounds like an in depth manual on all the wiring in those years.

There is a fusible link you might want to test near the drivers fender. It should be in the Grey connector, white/lt blue or red/lt green. You will need to open theharness up a bit to get to it,...

I got it to fire, with some ether. Put a light bulb in injector connector and nothing, tester shows 12v, so trouble with a ground or EEC. Ready to start rear axle swap this wekend.

Knock sensor, power steering pressure switch, not being used. Just for giggles I switched the 2 wires coming from the injectors. Pulling the 5.8 harness off is last resort.
