I paid $5800 for my 1967 F100 shortbed. I told that to the insurance agent, but he said they go by the NADA guide which showed $7000 minimum in good condition.

My 1967 F100 2x2 is my daily driver. I sold my 1998 Ford Lariat 4x4 to buy it. Not a good choice when it snows, but a lot more fun to drive around town! It is fully restored and people around here...

I'm also a fan of the 1966 Ranchero. I had one with the 289 4 bbl. It was trouble free and in great condition- turned a lot of heads. People were always coming up to me to admire it. My son had a...

I would go to traderonline.com and see what your competition is and go from there. I'm an old real estate appraiser, so I always look for comps before pricing anything.

I sold my 1998 F150 Lariat 4wd to buy my 1967 F100. I was tired of it going down $1500-2000 a year in value. This truck is all new after the previous owner restored it, gets lots of attention...

Sorry about the "M." My point is the 400 (not 400M) is an engine that has plenty of power for our 1967-72 trucks and yet is not as heavy as the larger block engines and doesn't make them as nose...

I bought a 1967 F100 with a 1978 400M engine. My Chilton"s manual says it should take 6 quarts of oil, but 5 takes it to full on the dipstick. The engine comes out of a 1978 Lincoln- was there a...
