For $284, no thanks, spend too much time cleaning those on airplanes. The joke is they only catch part numbers. Be careful with your oil change intervals.

I don't put too much faith in the HF gauges, I have found them to be very inaccurate. Replace the gauge with an accurate one or check the accuracy before each use.

It's supposed to be a cure for high oil temps with the BPD external cooler. It's more like putting a bandaid on top of a bandaid in my opinion.

There is no way you can have oil temp lower than coolant temp on a warmed up engine with an oem cooler set up. Check the oil temp sender and wiring.
