Not as bad as it seems. Lap welding the pans in is easier but butt welding gives a much neater appearance. Use a mig welder, don't bother with flux core. The welds look crappy with flux core....

Thanks Rich, those were from when I sandblasted the cab in my front yard. I had to keep an eye on the neighborhood cats though :D.
