Have you tried tightening the end float bowels a little. My 71 f250 4wd truck also builds up a lot of tank pressure. My gas psi is setup 6psi and don't have any problems.

Just remove with a 1/2" wrench removes the whole shell with the inserts.
Bolts right in. Even the earlier 67,68,6970,71,72, grille shell will interchange, Even the radiator support.

Amp gauges were only good for a old skool...

Amp gauges were only good for a old skool generator charging systems.
A volt meter is what became the standard use with a Alternator charging system.

High octane helps a little until harden seat get...
