First off i would make sure the gas tank is full if you plan on parking it fo any amount of time. Then I would put stabil or seafoam in it to keep the gas fresher, since it only take 2 months for gas...

Ya sorry i forgot to post all that info. I have a 2001 ford ranger with a 4.0l and an automatic. I just replaced the spark plugs and the DPFE.
