I have a scanguage2. Normal driving yesterday morning. Not towing. Temp got up to 200 deg.....then later to 240!!

Never an issue with the tranny !!

I use a ProPride hitch setup, RAS, Air bags, Hellwig Michelin M/S Erated one size over stock and Rancho 9000. I pull a tri axle toyhauler weighing in at 13000 lbs. Never nervous. Never an issue.

i just went through a hot/warm hard start /no start issue. Before you take it apart i would do a high pressure test on the high pressure oil system unless you're planning to replace all of the Orings

Yw.... I'd add that you should check your batteries and any chaffing areas. We did a 4500 mile trip last summer and our rig weighed 21000 lbs.

Use your scangauge to monitor fan speed, oil and water temps. check the bearings and tires on the trailer. Proper hitch setup. Check for radiator obstructions. Brakes on the truck too.

The latest....the starter is now done....so a new one has to be installed. Tow the vehicle in + starter cost + labour = $700.00!! (sorry for the wrong cost!!)
