I'd recommend air bags if you tow or haul anything, the suspension rides well for a 3/4 ton empty, but will sag as soon as you put any weight on it.

I'd have to agree. This harness hasn't changed since the Super Duty was introduced. You don't see a large number of issues with the older trucks - I suspect something else caused the failure.
