The '66 Mercury 410 in the ad is an FE engine. It's essentially a 390 with a 428 crank.

It was an option for F-4,5,6 with V8 and standard in the F6 with the 254-6. This is according to the '52 salesman's manual.

John, the fenders, upper and lower, as is the grille are unique for the F-7/8. F-2-6 will interchange within that group.
