70s F250 search

Hello everyone:

I am still looking for a decent F250 with divorced transfer case. Found a number in the States but the distances are great to just go for a look - asking prices varied from $800 to the sky.
If anyone knows of a useable example for sale hopefully not too far from Vancouver, please keep me in mind. The engine isn't important although I really like the big six.

Thanks

Mr. Fixit

I haven't seen anything lately but I will keep my eyes open.

No problem.

Have you ever tried looking on a site called Castanet. It is kind of a Craigslist type thing for the Kelowna/Vernon area.

Here's a link.

Hard to find a 70's truck much anymore.
I would like a 70's to 80's camper special supercab with 460 myself. Or else go much newer to the 2000 to 2007 years 350 with the 6.8 liter engine.
Both are hard to find.

Nota:

I have an "experienced" '76 F250 camper with the 460/C6 but it's a regular cab... Of course, you could stretch the cab out if you were enthusiastic enough... I have seen a crewcab put on the shorter frame - the bed ended up being about 5 feet long - it looked good.

Sadly the camper we own is only supposed to be in a 8 foot bed, for proper support under its floor. Then it still has 2 feet of over hang. But thanx for thinking of me.

The guy at the wrecker is doing one of those. It's going to be pretty nice if he ever gets it finished.
