I usually buy high and sell low so no thoughts of flipping it till I finish my 53 resto rod. :'(
The nice front fenders will go on my resto rod 53 M100 build and I`ll preseve the rest as it`s decent enough that someone may someday want it. |
I'll keep that in mind if I decide to do another one, I wouldn't mind a 4X4 that I could actually drive in the winter..
Years ago I wanted to swap a newer 4x4 frame under a 53-56 body but it`s not easy and certainly way beyond what I`m capable of. :-hair
I'd like to give it a try, I seen a 53 years ago done up in Upsala Ontario but couldn't stop because I was headed to Thunder Bay for a doctors appointment. It looked pretty good but jacked up pretty high..
My problem is that I would want mine no higher than maybe a little more than stock.
That's about where I'd want it too...
That`s where it looks just right to me too.
I like the 2 wheel drives low though..:)
For me it`s just slightly lowered, no pavement scrapers.
My running boards on the panel has 6 inches of clearance, I wouldn't go any lower than that..
To me that`s perfect, a real nice stance.
I`m off now, I hear my 53 calling me, have a good evening John. :) |
You too Morris, enjoy your ride..
It was a great evening for a drive in my 53 that brought back a lot of memories driving dad`s 53 many yrs ago. :)
How far did you go ...?
Not far just around the country side at a comfortible pace. It really was awesome, I will have to do it more a lot often. :D
