Did you buy the Ford ESP ext warr when you bought your 6.7?
 

Guys, I've been wondering about the Ford ESP. I should get my 6.7 F350 in 6 to 8 weeks. I plan on keeping this one a lot longer than my 6.4! Can prices be negotiated on ESP??

Yes the prices are negotiable. I bought mine after the purchase of my truck, from another dealer and saved about $800.

I will be doing the same. I can get a deal from my parts connection. I have seen Ed the parts guy mentioned here as a source for discounted ESP.

I'd like to plan my finances for something like this. If someone doesn't mind sharing prices in a PM, it would help. There are a few plans to choose from. Looks like the plans that cover radiators are the 2nd from most expensive.

They have a diesel maintenance plan too that gives you up to 6 oil changes a year. It might not hurt to lock in on that deal.

I have not priced the ESP options yet.

I paid $1488 for my 7 year/100,000 warranty. It's not a Ford warranty but covers everything theirs does and is accepted at every Ford dealer in the US and Canada. Not bad.

I can sell you one.


I sell them for $200 over my cost.

I bought Ford's for 2k for the 7yr/100k. Negotiated it down from $2,500.

Thanks for the info. My truck is supposed to be delivered next week. I just submitted for a quote through your link. I wasn't sure what plan to pick, so I just selected the diesel plan for each choice. Thanks again.

These ESP plans are a total rip-off and nothing but a cash cow for dealers and ford. But a sucker is born every second and ford and gm know how to find them. Oh and ram too. Very expensive insurance and it only is needed after the factory warranty expires. Oh and u can still buy it after or right before your factory warranty expires but by then u should have all the bugs worked out if there is any an no need to through goo:-X14 money after bad in my books.
