So I met up with Tom and Michelle last night in PA. Since it was just me, they were nice enough to let me crash in their TT so I didn't have to haul mine up there as well. I woke early in the morning and decided to go down to the Sheetz for coffee since noone else was up yet. I guess they got worried because when I got back, this was waiting on the counter.

Thanks. For the moment, it is gonna be used for moving. We have a few PCS moves with the military coming up over the next few years. Other than that, cars, motorcycles, construction materials, hay, whatever else I am feeling at the time. :-X04

Cleaned the MAF sensor. I recently switched from K&N to paper, and I thought it was ok, but it started dropping out of OD for no reason, and since that's the last thing I did, I decided to give it a whirl. I have some MAF cleaner on order, but didn't realize that I had some QD Electronic Cleaner, so I'm just waiting for it to dry and then I'll take a test spin, and see if it is still there. As long as I drove in 3rd gear no problems.

Finally had time to take advantage of the new garage/shop to do a turtle wax black 2step process to the Excursion. Second time I have used it on the Excursion and have been impressed with it both times. So nice to once again have a garage big enough for the Ex! (The car has a bent rim waiting for a replacement)

You are correct

I met up with Toreador Diesel (aka Razzi) and a few other forum members last night and loaded my SCT X4 canned tune and talked shop a little. It made a huge difference in performance and I can only imagine how sweet it will run when I get my custom tunes!

Update on the MAF Sensor cleaning. Just a short drive, but uphill in OD to see how it would do, and everything was fine. No more dropping in and out of OD and lurching/jerking....

Now if you tell me that that doesn't affect it, ok, but empirically, as of now, it did the trick.

My membership to the gold club is up. I was gonna renew tell i seen it comes with a gay hat now. Im holding out tell tge cool shirt comes back again now!

Funny thing is..... no need for your name on it, he nailed it ! If I saw that jug in someone's recycle bin, I'd say 'Holy crap, Twitch is missing and being exploited!'
