Installed an Optima red top. Just wanted to try one since I never have and the price on Amazon wasn't bad. One thing is for sure, my starter sure likes a new battery. It's so fast now.

Meh, maybe if they were polished.

I just did something similar on The Monster. I replaced the flooded batteries I had with O'reilly AGMs. It only cost me a little over $100 since it was a warranty thing.

My truck as a whole and the starter especially likes it :)

Towed the MR2 to it's new owner in Anaheim. Easy peasy...altho had to turn to a smaller ball on the 3 ball dealio I put in for the day. I usually just have a blank cover and no hitch as I have banged my leg one too many times!!! Oh, and I have a wd contraption when I tow the TT.

Just swapped out K&N air filter for Motorcraft paper air filter. This "Evnntrn" needs tracks(highways, etc.), We don't even like big bumps...let alone 4x4 stuff.

My X just needs to filter LA smog! Probably the worst "air" it will see.

Not bored, I just want to move to 18s and go to a slightly larger tire (nothing bigger than a 37).

I bought the thing off of Amazon, direct ship from China. It sticks on but you still have to remove the grill and old emblem but it is far inferior to the OEM. It just sticks, doesn't clip so I bet it will fall off one day. Stupid me, I thought it was OEM when I ordered it.

I think I'm gonna have to do some research on a SD grille. I don't want to change anything but that, std lights are ok, just get the SD bars...but I have a suspicion it can't be done without changing whatever that thing is called that holds everything together...

Im goin outside to take a couple of pix and then start a thread about tools to carry in the X. Not the 4x4, the std highway 4x2 non lifted trailer puller... see ya on the flip side.

99-04 Super Duty grill is a direct replacement for the 00-04 Excursion grill, nothing else needed.

I bought and painted a '00 Super Duty XL grill and have had it on for years I like the look much better.
