Back from TN... round trip of 1656 miles towing the wifey's SUV.
65MPH = 16.3 mpg
75 MPH = 15.1 mpg

guessing about 16K total with all "her' stuff.

I'm Rudolph towed to a friend's shop this evening for an invasive procedure.

The use of an Autozone starter trashed my flex plate so that will be replaced along with the up pipes since the trans will be down.

Nah, other than a "red sock" on my 6637, I would never paint an engine white like some people we know.

Rancho RS 5000s front and rear last week. Oh, and a brand new alternator on Friday after the original locked up, yep, LOCKED UP on the freeway. I have seen a lot of weird alternator stuff over the years but I haven't ever seen one flat lock up while running. Of course by the time I figured out where the funny noise and smoke was coming from it had trashed the serpentine belt too, to yeah, there went another $45.
