I am fed up with people thinking that my gravel driveway is there for them to turn around on! I am about to the point where I am going to put up gates or chains or something. EVERYONE STAY OFF MY PROPERTY UNLESS I KNOW YOU OR INVITE YOU!!!

I just hate that people have no respect for other's property, despite the NO TRESPASSING signs.

I hear ya man. Our drive way is .8 mile long and for some reason we have people that come down our lane just to see what's there. We have several no trespassing signs and beware of dog signs but they are just ignored. I want to make a sign that reads "We got guns and **** and are all out of moving targets, please come play with us"

On another note, I was on my way home Monday from the city and I ended up broke down about 20min from home. The water pump pulley broke. I mean straight up snapped off of the pump itself.

Installed a new water pump yesterday and will be picking up the pulley and a new belt as soon as they open today.

MVI is on Tuesday so I'm getting things up to code...

Horn has not worked for a few months, tracked it down to a frayed wire behind the fuse box. Works now, I expect to pass without any problems as long as they don't take issue with the lack of muffler and cat

LivingLarge 10-07-2015 03:04 PM

The rear cladding I had replaced a couple months ago is coming off...
Quality work is getting harder to find, can't even emagine having that blemish over my keypad done:-roll

Still have not had a chance to go in for my brakes, next week looks like I'll have the time.

Tell them it's a new system and those things are now integrated inside the pipe... Made in America by :oval

Upgrading or staying stock?

Again going against my judgement lol... I got the 8 piston SSBC for front and just the red Powerstop for rear with pads, rotors and braided Russell lines.

Krazee Matt 10-07-2015 04:31 PM

I had SSBC's on my F250 on 40's as well as my 72 Camaro - both vehicles the braking was phenomenal, even, and smooth every single time without fail nor fade. I think you'll be happy with them.

Just remember that there's new brakes on it the first time you stop, I almost went through the windshield in my truck as I was used to a much longer stopping distance. I would also stop short of the signs and traffic lights by a good 10 feet in the Camaro for about a week, lol.

Are you going to get the hydro boost system flushed as well? Also helps with braking distances a bit.

LivingLarge 10-07-2015 04:57 PM

I just had it flushed when the RedHead developed a leak, I lost most of my fluid. Dealer recommended a total flush since I had a funny feel at the brake pedal.

Right on bud.

I'm guessing you had the windshield washer fluid flushed at some point too! :p

BTW, I feel sure the underside is museum quality!

Lol, true story when I got back from WV in January I was using a windshield washer fluid that would not freeze over. So, yes I had it flushed out and added the good stuff when I got back. I rarely use it or my wipers, I'm a fan of plenty of RainEx.

It's not museum quality here, I do drive her in the rain :-roll

I noticed this today:
See where the sway impacted the oil pan just in front of the drain plug?
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...82c1f02a10.jpg

It was caused by this, which I was aware of. I wan't aware how close I was to a disaster though.

So naturally I went straight to the nearest auto parts store and did this in the parking lot. $13.49 for the pair plus tax.

Sorry for the blurry night shots, it was dark and I was under the truck with no jack in a dirty parking lot.

Tell me about it.......I was trying to get to a jobsite in the city for a meeting the other day and the stupid traffic cops decided to just randomly shut down streets. And when I asked them to let me down the street the response I got was "take public transportation". Really? With an Ex full of tools? What, am I supposed to somehow lug a gang box on the train? It's crazy.....potholes and all. I could've sworn the dent in the oil pan wasn't there when I got the truck in April even though the bump stops were long gone.....

Suspension upgrades are on my to do list but fixing everything else is comes first, the 2 biggest things left is broken studs/manifold that I might just leave, the noise doesn't bother me that much, and the front axle/hub stuff that I hope to fix this week. Springs might need to wait until spring.....

Splash67 10-07-2015 10:49 PM

Lol...now I've heard it all! I just got pulled over because I hit the rumble strips when I was passing a cop that was sticking halfway out of the median into the highway! Can you say "entrapment"?
