Just got home from the cabin, had to pull out the boats, lift and dock, all in 40 degree rain:( But of course, the sun came out half way home!

Just drove the Ex to and from school this weekend, otherwise it sat. But put over 1000 miles on the F-450 this weekend. I know it's not an Ex, but I sure enjoyed spooling up those turbos. Moved three fifth wheels (37'-40') into storage for the winter and backed all three into the buildings perfectly on the first try.
Well, I must confess, even though the '05 didn't move, I went and felt that nice Blackwood wheel, just because I could :) I'm so glad I did that mod! On the way home tonight, we were behind an '04 EB X, 6.0 PSD, Toreador Red, with PSD badges, an US flag sticker and a K&N sticker on the back window, and plate surround from Anchorage, AK (but MI plated). Was around Flint, MI about 6:30 tonight. Was it anyone here? It was really really clean! Also, I took a little time Saturday morning to go visit my favorite junkyard with the three Excursions. Picked up three more Excursion badges from damaged fenders. They aren't all 100% perfect, but they are very nice and of course it isn't often that one can find them. Also cut off a 4-way flat rubber dust plug (which he gave me for free) since a PO cut mine off :( I'm sure y'all will hate me, but I picked up a very nice pair of '01-'03 PSD badges with the silver bars. I have one of the late '99-'00 red bar badges already and an early '99 fender badge/sticker. However, I think the silver bar badges are going on the Ex. Going to put them in the correct position and then hopefully compliment them with some (small) vinyl lettering saying "Wannabe" or "Wishing I'm a", etc. I already have the V10 fender badges, so I'm not going to completely deceive... |
