Headlight switch wiring diagram
 

Need a headlight wiring diagram or someone to tell me what each colored wire controls on my 97 at the pin connector.

I haven't received a response for my post. Maybe I wasn't clear on what I needed so I posted a couple of pictures. Basically, I need to know what each wire does (powers) below for a '97 model.

Reason is I read the article here on the boards titled "Whiter Whites, Brighter Brights" (where you wire the headlights to the battery for improved light output) and thinking about doing the modification. However, I don't want to cut the factory harness up. If possible I'd remove the wires at the headlight switch plug and run the new wires from there to the relays. Hopefully that makes sense. Automotive electrical isn't my strong point.

This is for a 98 but here are the color codes, they are likely the same.

Smaller grey plug C244
W/B Fog lamps on indicator
Grey Plug C245
DB/W Power (hot in park or head)
W/R Lamps on output to GEM
BK/PK Ignition (hot on acc)
BR Exterior lamps output
T/W Power (hot at all times)
O/LG Dome lamp switch
Black Plug C246
BK Ground
Y Fog lamp switch
LB/BK Radio illumination
DB/O Power (hot at all times)
R/Y Headlamps output
LB/R Switch illumination circuit
