Wally,
You forget to tell the "rest of the story".. So.... Did you have any hunting success? Ben in Austin 1950 F1 |
We caught plenty of fish, but the only hunting was for deer and elk sheds. We found a couple of mule deer sheds, small forkies.
Was nice to remember some of the hunts spent with my dad! Those hunts were some of the best connections with him. Our last actions together was on his last elk hunt about three weeks before he died. |
Wally,
Great pics, great memories A nice way to spend spring break! Thanks Bobby |
Truck still looks great Wally..

That's one you can be proud of ! Real nice truck .

This Easter break was very productive for me. Not only was I able to work on the truck, but I also was able to do a bunch of spring cleaning. This job entailed 5 truck loads of pine needles to be hauled off, close to a ton of scrap to be recycled, and a sorry excuse of a '48 F3 to be relocated to the back corner of the property. I had previously traded off the rear axle of the truck so I had to hook it onto my '53 f250 like it was a trailer. The move was a success

Cody posted this on Facebook and I thought it fit perfectly in this thread. It might not be working now but I'd bet it did it share when it was.
Found abandoned in the oil fields of North Dakota this old girl has just made home to Montana. The Fabco Dual Drive works flawlessly with one drive line directed up and over the rearmost axle. The shovel is a Bantam M47 serial number 730. I can't get the Youtube video to imbed, here are the links: |

A Halliburton truck. Looks like it is hauling some flexible pipe.
Note the broom hanging next to the back door. |
