I really dont think so. You can bet we would rise to the occasion.:-drink

We are alittle off topic but the only reason we beat the Nazis was we could make ships, tanks, Jeeps etc. faster than Hitler could. Do you think we can make these things as fast as China now?

Here's another picture of one of those ice cream trucks like I posted a couple days ago. That company is called Good Humor Ice Cream. They have a website and a section that mentions their trucks from the past. www.goodhumor.com

My Dad's work truck from the early 50s. Guess that is why I bonded with the 48-50 style.

Here is a shot of a friend of the family that ran the local garage and towing service. Even a service truck gets a flat once in awhile. This shot was labeled 1958.

I aint gonna run ya for pink slips or what ever color they are there that's for sure Moe. Hee Hee. My FE is strong but it aint no match for that!

Fomoko1 09-25-2010 07:41 PM

A 390 is more than enough and it`ll pass alot more gas stations than my 460!:-banghead

I was amazed when I went from the 4:11 to the 3:09 gear. She will run freeway speed with a tow and gets reasonable mileage. Still an overdrive Auto is still something I am looking at. But I would never give up the FE for anything but a Y block. She had an I6 and 4 speed factory and that suprized me with all the options she has
