Hi I am Tom, from lebanon..I have a 78 F150 auto with a 351M.. It has been sitting in
my wifes grandparents barn for a couple of years and is in overall good shape.. Trying to get it running again, little succes so far.. Have done full tune up, carb rebuild, new starter and battery.. Having issue with dist. is frozen in place can not turn it at all yet..
It has dual tanks and I put fresh gas in rear tank.. I think valve guides may be gone alot of smoke when I have had her going, along with some oil in end of tailpipe.. If anyone has suggestions or lives nearby I could use the help.. My experience is mostly with my mazda RX7...

Hey Tommy I used to live up in your area, nice to meet ya. Drain about a quart of oil of her and put a quart of ATF in it's place. Get her running and let her worm up real good, then let her sit and degrease itself then change the oil and see how she runs. Sitting for so long probably has everything all gummed up, the ATF is a cheap way to break all that stuff up.
