Any Details on the 2011 Expedition?
I'm thinking about a new EB Expedition to replace my 2005, any details on the 2011 yet? I'd hate to buy a 2010 now only to find out there's something I would really want on the 2011's. Thanks all.

Great, thank you.
So for someone who was looking for a 2010 Black w/ Camel interior EB with 2nd row chairs, 373 gears, and 203A package, looks like there are no significant changes at all other that a different 20" wheel and DVD screens in the headrest as opposed to on the ceiling. |
Yeah, having just picked up a 2010 I prefer the in ceiling dvd and I think the new rims are nothing too great in terms of looks although they probably a better quality wheel, not just a piece of plastic glue to a wheel. Considering the deals you can get on 2010's these days it is pretty hard to justify getting a 2011.

rjd75, I have a question about your 2010 purchase, would you be able to drop me a quick email? jknott (at) erols.com Just replace the (at) with a @
Thanks!! |
No Eddie Bauer for 2011.
Board Message COLOR OFFERINGS XL XLT XLT Premium XLT Sport Limited King Ranch |
Yep, my dealership actually had a 2011 brochure that they gave me, no more Eddie Baur in 2011. Sounded like the relationship between EB and Ford ended. There is a XLT model that is 2-tone like the EBs though.
|
rjd75, are you there? thanks....
|
No Eddie Bauer? No loss.
Maybe they can fill out the two tone line with a LL Bean, GAP, Coldwater Creek, or Lane Bryant (EL only) model to replace it? Gotta be my age to remember when Eddie Bauer was a real expedition outfitter and not a fashion clothing store. Of course Lands End was a marine supply store specializing in racing sailboats long ago too... ;) -- Chuck |
2011 Ford Expedtion
Does anybody have any 2011 Expedition pics?
|
Really no changes other than wheels, DVD in headrests, etc. noted above. What was the Eddie Bauer in 2010 is now called the XLT Premuim Package (similar 2-tone color scheme with lower parts in Pale Adobe Metalic). The XLT Sport package has Gray bodyside moldings, charcoal black interior, etc. Limited now has a chrome grill. XLT Premium and above all get a 110V AC power outlet. Get a brochure from your Ford dealer. Good luck.

Those have to be the most lackluster wheels I have ever seen.

I thought we might have seen the 6.2 arrive.

The XLT Sport hasn't been around since 2007. Does anybody know anything that will be different on the Navigator also?
