hpop and ipr location 2005 6.0

where is the hpop and ipr on a 2005 6.0?

I can't find a good picture to show you but basically the HPOP is under and behind the turbo. The IPR is in the HPOP, I think, on an 05. There are those here that have better saved resources than me--LOL.

on an 05 the ipr is in the pump. the ipr must be removed to remove the pump cover.
they are both behind / under the trubo charger

my brother has a problem with his 6.0 not starting ipc is good, does not have 500 psi at ipc.

ok I would love to help here but lets try this.
what kind of truck is it, what year, what engine, whats the complaint
what diag has been done, the results of such, any codes, etc...

if this is the 05 how much icp pressure is there when cranking as well.

it is an 05 6.0. there are no codes present. truck will start sometimes. we do not know how much preasure is at the icp we only know that we can hold it back with our thumb. there is good low oil preasure while cranking. ford

spechless. just speechless.

please refer to the tech folder on how to use a dvom to figure this out.

please if you are sticking your thumb over a 4000psi of oil pressure ware safty glasses this way you have a chance at being able to find your thumb latter for reattachment.

point being there is not high oil preasure. it would seem that the problem would be the ipr or a high preasure oil leak. right/wrong
