What side is bank 2

I went to autozone to replace o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2, the guy told me it was the left side but looking online I see people saying its the right. Can anyone help me out is it the passenger or the driver side? thanks

Driver's side, downstream.

Left and right, according to Ford protocol, is based upon being seated in the driver's seat, not standing in front of the bumper like a monkey trying to do arithmetic.

The passenger side is bank #1 because thats where the #1 plug is. On Fords and most imports, Bank#1 is the passenger side, bank#2 is the driver side. On Chevies it is the opposite (as usual GM defies the world).

Thanks, this is my first ford. Ive only had chevys so I guess thats why Im opposite

Bank 1 on any vehicle is the side of the bank containing the #1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the other bank. This is true on a I6, L6, V6, V8, V10
