1988 ford pickup fuel pump problems
 
I have a 88' ford pickup with a 300 straight6 with duel tanks. Today i took it to put some gas in it it quit on me be fore i got there well i got it started went and filled it up both tanks got about a mile down the road it dies again will not start back up. i went and replaced the inline pump still not getting any fuel to come out i also checked the relay look fine also checked tank selector switch on dash it is sending power out to selected pump. what could it be PLEASE HELP!!!!:-X09

Are you saying with the High Pressure Fuel Pump on the frame unplugged you can not get any fuel out of the fuel line to the High Pressure Fuel Pump on the frame with either tank selected when you ground pin #6 of the EEC-Self Test plug and with the key on?

Do you hear either in tank boost pump run when it is selected and doing the above?
