Headers for 390 4x4

Hey everyone, I apologize if this topic has been previously covered, and it's probably a stupid question but, I oredered a pair of hedman 89100 headers for my 390 4x4, and later found out that they are for 2WD. Is there any way these will end up fitting? They are still shipping so I am not sure.

Here is a link to the headers: Hedman Hedders 89100 - Hedman Street Hedders - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Sorry, I have both a 2 and 4wd each with 390's and there is a reason the headers are different. The crossmembers are different between the two trucks and cause problems when mixing and matching headers. Remember, if you bang them up you can't return them.

Sooo... probably not then?

Thanks alot!, mickeydafnn, That's probably where I'll order from after I send the headers I bought from summit back. Does anyone know what company makes them though?

A cheap as they are I would guess Flowtech. I considered those recently for a few seconds, but I read some posts about fitment problems and went with the Heddmans instead since I've had good experiences with them before. I also prefer to keep my money here in the USA as much as possible. Of course I'm just speculating on the brand.

Yeah, I figured Flowtech aswell. But I got a low budget so for the price I can't pass it up.

Hedman Hedders 390 4x4 headers available

I got my hands on a Hedman catalog and it lists the following headers for your Dent:

65-76 w/ 352-390: PN 89120 (Painted), 89126 (HT coated), and 89830 for Elite or stainless.

Comes with exhaust gaskets, header bolts, 3-inch to 2.5-inch collector adapters, and flange gaskets. Give Summit a call to see if they have them but don't list them.

I just swapped out my hedmans from the year 2000 on my 76 F-150 390 4x4... Rusted thru 5 -6 (North East Weather) years ago and the truck has sat since...(from me being overseas)... Just installed Hooker 6906 HKR - Holley Performance Products Ford F-100/F-150/(4WD): 352-390*6906HKR (note - the picture is deceptive - they do come with 2 1/2" 3 Bolt Flanges welded on - and no collector reducers included)... Got em from Amazon.com of all places... Cheapest price I could find plus free shipping.... Took a few weeks to get them, but I'm in no rush.... They slide in a little easier than the hedmans I had... I also wanted a thicker tube wall 16 gauge vs 18.... Although the the exit locations are different .... but so are the new hedmans - they switched to a ball and socket flange style collector meaning I had to cut up pipes anyways..... BEWARE --- ON EITHER BRAND OF HEADER --- you will have to remove the starter and lift the Passenger side of the engine up to get the header on that side in... I also lifted the drivers side to ease installation..... The tech guys at Hooker told me that the Cheaper Flowtechs may fit 4 or 5 or 6 applications where as Hookers fit only 1 or 2.......
