Hope everyone had a great weekend! :D

Sunday up early out on the water at my Halibut spot and polls down sunny little bit of chop. Next thing I know look down the channel and black wall coming towards us, reel up the gear, by the time started pulling up the anchor getting 4-5 footers, get turned around and head back to town. At least we caught one halibut for dinner. Had checked the weather when we left and it said wind 15 knots seas 2 feet or less when I got home there was a gale warning and small craft advisory.

Had about 12 mile run back to town but was able to get back in before it really blew up

Sounds like home. Now if I can just get the outboard to run right. Put in in and out the water half a dozen times lately. Just cleaned the carbs out again and try it once more. Than to the shop if it is still fubared. Every one is getting fish and crab except me. They are all given me plenty but it just aint the same. The kids are saying "No Papa not Halibut again".

That sounds like fun.
I don't mind the waves here on the river but get me out in the ocean i need to see land.

anyone know what this is about? new gold charger with custom wheels and full undercover lights,push bar, antennas..ect but had state "offical use only" plates. now i know most troopers have "AST" on there plates...weridddd

More rain and moose season is open till 70 some are taken.
Hope to get out for a couple of day trips.

heading up to fairbanks this weekend. booked a room at the fairbanks princess waterfront hotel. should be a fun trip plus i get to strech the excursions legs alittle.
