Heims are for tie rods on my hydro steer. I'm running 8" lift super duty leafs for now.

All my hydro steer and pinion brake parts came in earlier this week.
Got a 10' piece of 1/4 wall for my driveshaft early this week also and will have it back tomorrow.
Got my rear pinion brake installed.
Saw just how bad rockwell axle wrap is when I put a breaker bar on the pinion nut.
If all goes accordingly, I will be able to turn the truck around and work on the front axle this weekend.

Sure did and in 4 wheel drive too! You drive your junk on the street don't you?
I only ran over some local women and children, I was able to dodge the nuns.

I did spin 'em in the dirt some but a video would only get me excommunicated. Axle wrap is obviously a problem with rockwells and leaf springs but its been amplified because my leaves aren't clamped together. We took it out in the pasture and flexed it out then pulled it back in the garage are cut the front end out of it so the burn out video will have to wait. Believe me.. I'm more bummed than anyone that I didn't get to do donuts on 44's and 53's but I didn't wanna bend my leaves.

Good joke but please enlighten me on why it would be unsafe to drive...

captain p4 09-19-2010 10:51 AM

Only thing I would wonder is what you did about brakes, but only reason I said anything was because it looks so ridiculous like that LOL But, as long as the nuns made it out alive, all is good in kirbyland.

There's also the risk of your front tires falling off from running 44's on half ton **** everytime is moves with that d44 in the front :D

didn't really say it was unsafe. i just imagined the conversation, and that's how i figured it went, at least in my mind. don't get all butt hurt, just a joke.

Worked on custom front spring hangers some today and figured I'd post another picture from my test drive day.
