1958 Ford 3 speed standard transmission?

It is the standard 110" wheelbase transmission. I am just trying to get the name or ID for it.

It has 28 AF 7006-D on the case.
I know it is a 3speed side shifted tranny. Any information will help I have 2 of them and I will be selling them as soon as I find out what they are.

Working my way up to purchase another old vehicle.

I have one just like it , same year in my collection of left over parts to sell. I thought it was made by Borg / Warner , but i'm not sure.

:-missingt If anyone's asleep, it's you...kiddo! Open your peepers and read the info again.

My info jives with what oldcar manual sez, and I didn't sleep thru anything...I took this info directly from the FORD truck part catalogs.

The Ford Light Duty 3 speed manual non 1st gear syncro trans was used thru 1962 in F100/250's, passenger cars.

In 1963, Ford introduced the type 3.03 3 speed manual all syncromesh transmission. It was initially used in F100/250's, while the F350's continued to use the Warner T-87 H/D 3 speed manual.

It was also used in 1963/72 Galaxie/LTD's, 1966/77 Bronco's, and a gazillion other passenger car/truck/Econoline applications thru 1986.

hi

i have the gearbox out of my 1962 f-100 that i am currently restoring the tag# is af-7006-d .is it a borg warner ? there are all kinds of numbers in it like WAR-7651-a /ab7222-b.
it is very noisey in first and second so i figured i would fix it uo while the truck is a part .but every thing i read just says its a standard duty 3 speed .
if anyone knows what type it is and what makes it noisey i would like to know .......
thanks
