Can anyone recommend a driveshaft shop in the Rockville area?

Title says it all. I have a huge amount of slop in the slip yoke at the center berring on my F250. I'm thinking I might just want to get it fixed at a shop rather than blindly ordering parts on-line... Thanks.

I use a-1 driveshafts in baltimore. reasonable price, and they know what they are doing

you also can use middelton and mead in brooklin, but they are a little pricey

A-1 Drive Shaft Rocks!

Charlie, thanks for the tip. I went to A-1's DC location at 3620 East Street Landover, MD. Ed rebuilt my drive shaft (replaced 3 u-joints, stub shaft, slip-yoke, carrier bearing, 1 end-yoke, straightened and balanced it) in less than 24 hours. Price was good considering the amount of parts and work required. I picked it up today at lunch today and re-installed it after dinner. No more clunking, I am pleased. :-D My road test included a few hard shifts at WOT (never knew my truck would bark 3rd!)
