I am from Albany a small town i drive a 1993 f-250 460 i am doing a fun engine overhaul on it right i work at target store.

Your base timing is set a 10 degrees from the factory.............advance the timing to 12 to 16 degrees to gain a good deal of power, basically, as far as you can advance it without getting spark knock (pinging on hard acceleration).......you may run a little warmer temp. than normal, but mpg will increase a little as well.........Check out the 87/96 forum for more info, you will need to disconnect the SPOUT connector while advancing the timing and reconnect after finalizing it. SPOUT connector is located near the ECM port on driver side of firewall near the brake booster..........Good luck!
