Anyone buying bulk NEW Vegetable oil?

It looks like new vegetable oil goes for roughly $1/gallon when bought in bulk. (I'd guess thats either semi load or rail car load).

Is anyone buying it in those quanities and using it in their SVO setups? Maybe a Co-op or Partnership could make this a viable possiblity.

If anyone out there is doing this please let me know as I have some questions.

Thanks, Steve

More like $1 - $1.40 used. Last time i got a quote for 6000 gallons used veg oil thats what it was. Shipping is the biggest problem. Thats what drives the price even higher. you would be better buying new oil from a local farmer at $2.40 a gallon. Pick up what you need and not have to store. The co-op could work if you could get enough people to buy a very large amount( 500,000 gallons) from china and your co-op was really close to the port. American shipping charges are crazy

aw crap. For some reason I was thinking it was like $1 gallon if you bought a railcar load.
