Makes you wonder why as you get older something like this appeals to one, but it is in the garage and so I do have to look at it. Still a work in progress, so, ideas on what one could do to make it look a bit more appealing would be good. Tires, wheels, it has a blue interior so I suppose that has to stay. How about neat ideas on a tailgate the original tailgates were "uuuugly"?

This thing rooms with a Vulcan Motorcycle, a Diesel powered Cushman scooter and a 41 Chevy sedan and I think it is making them ill.

Wow, think I might pass on that. Have to raise the garage about 8 feet. I wonder what kind of production wheels that have a bit of class might fit on that. Gave it a 200 CID engine transplant for a bit more power.

Thanks for the pictures, I really like the grey color and the chrome steelys/moons. You gave me a couple of ideas. We had a 64 van centuries ago and had a Saint Bernard dog. He would ride sitting on top of the engine hood, people looked at you a bit strange when you met them on the road.

i think they look good with no front bumper....

the rim's are 15x8 with 235-60's

I liked the 61 original. It shows some character to it.

Wow that monster econoline makes me want to gig the 1 my grandpa used for parts out of the weeds n jack it up.

Early Bronco frames fit under them! i have seen pic's of it done.

My pickup bed needs some attention. Thinking about making it structurally strong and covering it with wood. Anyone tried that?

I have a parts truck here that the previous owner did that to. I think he did it to cover all the holes that had rusted through. What I find is they tend to hold moisture under the wood and advances the metal to rust faster. So I would be against that. The wood tends to hold the rains causing moisture.

Good point. I wonder if anyone makes a box liner for them? Kind of doubt it.
