Yeah, I'm not a suck up or nothing. I am just really good at everything I do. If I want to do something I do it well. Just like my truck when I get the money. lol

sddesigns 03-29-2010 06:34 PM

me too....great minds think alike!

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 06:43 PM

Got me a list to get my truck on the road. At least the things I know.
Extended cab panels replaced. Found a no weld kit I'm going to try.
Brake hoses.
Valve cover gaskets.
Rubber fuel hoses.
Master cylinder & brake booster.
Passenger exhaust manifold.
Neutral safety switch.
Truck cover.
Motor mounts.
Belts.
Oil Change.

That's a mouth full. LOL

sddesigns 03-29-2010 06:45 PM

That's a lot of work to do as a daily driver!

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 06:50 PM

Its not going to be a daily driver. That's what my crappy little car is for. LOL
I'm going to restore it to new condition. I can drive it any time I want and I will have a truck for hauling. Best of all. No monthly payments. 8D

sddesigns 03-29-2010 06:52 PM

No payments are the bonus to a fine vehicle.

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 06:55 PM

I hear that. I can't wait till this summer to get it on the road.
My car only has three payments left and then its mine too. Then just to pay off my wifes Ford Freestyle and we will be vehicle loan free. :-drink

we have to get something for my youngest, she passed her driving class in school and starting her behind the wheel next week, then it's permit time for a year.

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 07:03 PM

That's good. Teach her well. We have enough bad drivers out there as it is. LOL
So what were you looking to get her? Something small?

sddesigns 03-29-2010 07:07 PM

she wants a Jeep, but were leaning more towards a civic or a jetta!

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 07:18 PM

Yeah get something that can easily keep four tires on the ground. LOL

sddesigns 03-29-2010 07:28 PM

and more of a beater, the first car always gets slighty trashed no matter how hard they try!

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 07:30 PM

Yep. I've had my 4 cylinder Cavalier up to 110 mph a few times!!! :-banghead

sddesigns 03-29-2010 07:39 PM

yeah the Honda Civic my middle has, has seen 110 at least once!

Darksidesm 03-29-2010 07:55 PM

I'm off to bed.
