My dad's bronco hasn't come off the blocks since he had kids:( Its on blocks, in a shed, the seats are stored in the heated shop, and the motor is filled with oil right up to the top of the valve covers:) The only things it needs is a new battery and a starter, but my dad is waiting until he retires, then he is going to do a frame off resto.

At least he's storing it correctly. Too many guys leaving stuff out in the elements, and when they get around to finally working on it, what remains is junk. I let my 67 sit out for 8 years, and I paid for it. the front window leaked, and rusted the floorboards out.

The removable top is hanging in the rafters above the Bronco because his role cage and lights won't fit with it:) Would really be rusty if it wasn't indoors eh?:)

I used to take the top off mine for a couple weeks in the summer. Dropped it on my head once. That really hurt.

I'd love to have one of those Bronco's. My uncle in Colorado had, I think, a 69. It was a neat little truck, damn thing could climb a tree if it wanted to. He really regrets getting rid of it.

One that has been restored is worth quite a bit.

J_E_Summit 03-01-2010 03:51 PM

His Bronco was for offroading only, so the top was never on it. Neither were the doors:)

I think it's Ted Nugent has an awesome restored Bronco!
