Nice! I'm not really sure what I want yet. Was hopping to find a used set on craigslist. Don't have a ton to spend on a set. I want to find ones that will fit under my truck with out a lift.

460/5 03-15-2010 08:02 PM

you shouldnt need a lift for the 36s. they might rub a wee bit at the locks, but i wouldnt complain. the second ones, treadwright has a lot of sizes available. the one i linked you to is the second largest tire i can find on their site and its only 33 inches. itd fit with room. my buddy has a stock 94 and runs 35s that clear just fine.

I was thinking a set of 32 or 33's. It would make the truck look better and I would not be afraid to head off road. Then I would have to look for locker! Man I need a better paying job! LOL I don't want to lift it because I could then through my stockers back on when going far or pulling our car trailer.

dougbrown 03-15-2010 08:16 PM

Hey Brain. Nuffin much. Just looking for tires.

tiny1 03-15-2010 08:17 PM

Hey Brian.

Doug, I am running 265/75R16's on my 150. No issues what so ever with rubbing or anything like that and I have had it off road for fire calls. They work out to be around a 32

12engine 03-15-2010 08:21 PM

hey fellas.
Doug, Im runnin stock tires on my truck, so I cant really help ya there lol

tiny1 03-15-2010 08:24 PM

Stock tires on my truck are 235/70's so the 265/75's is a nice improvement

dougbrown 03-15-2010 08:28 PM

my stock tires are 235/85R16 I think! So I think a off road tread in a 235/90 or 95 r16 would work.

Actually I never drove the truck with the 235's on it. The PO already had the 265's on it when I got it.

ohhh. I see.

460/5 03-15-2010 08:37 PM

they are 235/85/R16s. the tires i put up are good tires, 33 inches, and have good reviews, not to mention cheap as dirt. heres some load range E options so you wouldnt have to go back to stock to tow.
