turbo pedestal o-rings?????????????????????

A torque wrench is good for going back together you don't want to under or over tighten the pedestal or the turbo. If you can get the up pipe clamp off fairly easy and this being your first time I will say allow 2-3 hours after doing it once it really don't take very long.
Good Luck its not a bad job.

Tighten 2 turbo “hold down” bolts and torque to 35 lb-ft per Garrett.

Per Ford Service Manual 18 Ft lbs

Attachment 21650

i seen 2 diffrent settings 18-35 when i searched other sites i wonder which is it i seen guys use both and had problems of leaking?? were did ford and garrett come up with this well im gonna start tearing this thing apart here

found it its leaking from under the fuel filter housing i think it a hpop line jus replace line or oring??

If the turbo bolts are torqued at 35 ft-lb howcome I needed about 300 to break mine loose?
From what I read members don't hesitate to put all the strength on standard wrenches to tight them. Evidently on this piece torquing is not critical.

Yep, Ford and Garrett have two different specs.

Go with the Garrett specs. I've found that my pedestal always leaks if I go with the Ford torque specs, but never leaks if I tighten down to what Garrett calls for.
